While many airlines are going out of their way to TORTURE travelers, United is actually doing something GOOD. (While also going out of their way to torture travelers.)
United Airlines has updated their policy to give themselves the right to refuse service to passengers who listen to audio or watch videos without headphones.
And yeah, that means if you’re blasting audio, and being a jerk about it, they’re reserving the right to boot you from the plane, without a refund, and even ban you from flying with them in the future.
But let’s be honest, they’re not dragging a six-year-old down the aisle and throwing them in prison for using a tablet.
They’re just putting this in writing to deal with people who are not being considerate to the flight crew and other passengers, and refuse to stop. United offers free earbuds to anyone who forgot theirs at home.
Online, this new policy was met with resounding CHEERS. (So apparently, America could only be united, by United?)
