The Five States with the Best Food

If you were going to travel to a different state, JUST for the FOOD, you probably wouldn’t choose West Virginia.  Or the Dakotas.

According to a new survey of 5,000 Americans, the state with the best food is:  California. The runner-up is New York, followed by Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

And the LOCALS know it.  The state where the RESIDENTS were the most confident that THEY have the best food is: Louisiana.

The states with the “most unimpressive cuisine” are: Delaware, Indiana, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North and South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Here’s another interesting stat:  New Yorkers spend the most time eating, 52 minutes a day, and people from Arkansas eat the fastest, 41 minutes a day.

The survey also came up with the dishes and flavors that most represent each state. You can find them by scrolling down at the source, here.
