It’s Quitter’s Day, the Day You’re Most Likely to Drop Your Resolution

You made it 2% of the way through 2026.  Good enough, right?  Happy Quitter’s Day, the day you’re most likely to drop your New Year’s resolution.

It’s always the second Friday in January, because we can make it ONE weekend with no pizza or drinking, but two weekends in a row is nearly impossible.

A study in 2024 found 80% of us start losing steam by Quitter’s Day. So if your resolution is still going strong, feel free to act all high and mighty about it.

A big survey done just before Christmas found the top resolutions this year were to exercise more, be happier, eat healthier, and save money.

So, if you want to follow the trends, make sure you get zero exercise this weekend.  Just eat Taco Bell on the couch while feeling sad for yourself.  Bonus points if you waste money on delivery.
