Billie Eilish has revealed the first trailer for HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D), her new concert film co-directed by James Cameron and Eilish herself.

The pop star’s new concert film will be presented in immersive 3D and hit theaters on March 20th, 2026. The trailer captures Eilish in the midst of her massive “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT TOUR,” a worldwide outing that arrived in support of her third album Hit Me Hard and Soft. With the arena concerts happening in-the-round, the trailer shows several sweeping shots of Eilish performing songs old and new from a variety of different angles, soundtracked by renditions of “bury a friend,” “bad guy,” and “THE GREATEST.”

In between concert footage, however, Eilish is shown processing the intense adoration of her fans (including scrapes on her hands from frequently high-fiving attendees at barricades and seeing a group of fans camping outside Eilish’s hotel room), coping with the pressure of performance, and relying on friends and family (and a puppy room, apparently) to de-stress from the high-energy nature of touring.

Helping achieve this immersive look into Eilish’s touring life is Cameron, who employs technology that’s “never been used before” to capture the full “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT TOUR” experience. An emotional moment also arrives as Cameron documents Eilish’s first shows without her brother Finneas, who briefly departed her tour to embark on his own solo outing late last year. Eilish originally teased the new concert film while performing in Manchester in June, telling the audience that they “may have noticed more cameras than usual” and that she was working on something “special” with James Cameron in 3D. She confirmed the concert film last month, sharing of photo of herself with Cameron to her Instagram and writing that “being able to capture it and co-direct this film with @jamescameronofficial has truly been a dream come true.”

As for Cameron, his new Avatar film, Fire and Ash, hits theaters on December 19th.
