The Newest Girl Scout Cookie Will Be “Rocky Road-Inspired”

If you have a Girl Scout, you know she’s been putting in long hours at the lab this summer helping to develop the next Girl Scout Cookie flavor.  And it’s finally ready.

The Girl Scouts have just unveiled their newest cookie:  They’re called Exploremores, and they’re ROCKY ROAD-inspired.

They’re “chocolate cookies, which have a creamy filling with notes of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème.”

The organization says they “reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout.”  (Well, not EVERY.  They’re definitely covering for the LAZY Girl Scouts who can’t pull their heads out of their tablets.)

The Exploremores will be available when Girl Scout Cookie season begins in January.  The full lineup includes the classics, along with more recent additions like Adventurefuls, Lemon-Ups, Toffee-tastic, and Caramel Chocolate Chip.

They haven’t brought back their last new flavor, Raspberry Rallys, which were basically a RASPBERRY version of Thin Mints.  They seemed like a big hit, but apparently not enough to impress the girls.

Earlier this year, they announced they’d be nixing Girl Scout S’mores and the Toast-Yays . . . so those won’t be back.

(Here’s a hype video.)
