If you’re running early for work today, great. But it didn’t make this list: A new poll looked at the events we’re most likely to show up early for. And #1 isn’t your current job, it’s your next one.
1. A job interview. 87% of us would try to get there at least a little early.
2. Concerts, 80%. It ranked first for arriving VERY early. Around a third of us like getting there with plenty of time to spare.
3. Sporting events, 76%. Some of those people are probably tailgating.
4. Movies, 76%. Most said just a little early for that one.
5. Weddings, 71%. You don’t want to be walking in when the bride does.
61% also said they’d arrive early to church, 57% would arrive early for a date, video calls, 57%, and 55% like getting to restaurants a little early.
The one thing we DON’T like being early for is parties. A third would get there early, 34% said right on time, and 31% like being fashionably late.
