Fish is one of the healthiest proteins you can eat, assuming THIS doesn’t happen . . .
A guy in Thailand shared a photo on Facebook after his wife swallowed a fishbone and forgot all about it, until it came out the side of her NECK. (!!!)
It was about an inch long. She felt it as soon as she swallowed and went to the E.R. But they couldn’t see anything in the X-rays, so they sent her home.
She assumed the bone had dislodged itself. She still had a sore throat, but figured it was just residual pain. But then two weeks later, she noticed a spot on the right side of her neck looked swollen.
She thought it might be a thyroid thing. So she went back to the hospital. But a second round of X-rays still didn’t show anything. They gave her pain meds and sent her home again.
She didn’t realize it was the bone until she was applying a pain patch they gave her, pushed down on her neck, and one end of the bone POPPED OUT.
She went back to the E.R. a third time, and they yanked the bone out. Her doctors said they’d never seen anything like it.
She told reporters she’s planning to avoid fish for a while, possibly forever.
(Here’s the photo.)
