It’s so hot across most of the country that people are losing patience, with people who are dressed like it’s still March.
Someone went on social media, and asked a simple question: “To the people who wear hoodies when it’s 90 degrees outside . . . WHY?”
Some people had REAL answers, like they want to protect their skin, or they’re more comfortable in bulky clothing because they’re insecure about their body.
Other people had more UNIQUE reasons, like:
1. “I always wear it. It’s like a security blanket thing.”
2. “I’m trying to hide my boobs. (I’m a man.)”
3. “I don’t want to get bit by bugs, especially mosquitos.”
4. “Everybody is blasting so much AC that it makes me cold.”
5. “My inner thermostat is broken, and I’m literally always cold.”
6. “Because I want to walk the dog without throwing a bra on every time.”
7. “It’s cool, It’s punk, Or ‘it’s a youth street culture thing.'”
8. “My hoodies look awesome.”
9. “I’m trying to shoplift.”
10. “I don’t know. Why do people wear shorts in 30-degree weather?”
Speaking of the heat:
A video is circulating online that shows a road buckling under the heat in Cape Girardeau, Missouri that caused a car to go AIRBORNE. (The car couldn’t slow down because it happened JUST as they were driving over it.)
This video captured the moment a heatwave caused a road to buckle in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and sent a car into the air

And if you’re looking for an ice-cold beverage to cool yourself down, the warmer summer heat has supposedly inspired a new trend of FANCY ICE at trendy bars, restaurants, and private parties.
This ice could come in specialized shapes, be “stamped” with images, or contain things inside, like flowers. (This isn’t a brand new thing, of course, but it’s starting to take off again with the soaring temps outside.)
