By now, all the good “criminal nicknames” have been taken, Scarface, Jack the Ripper, the Zodiac Killer, Bonnie & Clyde, the Wet Bandits. But the “Bathroom Vanity Villains” is still available. For now.
The Memphis Police Department is searching for two men who were recently caught on camera leaving a home on bikes, with a stolen vanity, faucet, and countertop. Yes, they’re on bikes, carrying a whole bathroom vanity.
It happened in broad daylight, at 4:14 P.M. last week. The house was being renovated, and it doesn’t sound like anyone was there at the time.
Interestingly, the SAME HOUSE was robbed a second time last week, and the thieves got away with two TVs, an air fryer, a coffee maker, toiletries, paper towels, board games, and bedding.
No arrests have been made in either case, and police don’t know if the two crimes are connected. (So there’s no footage of the same thieves riding away with a Mr. Coffee and “Monopoly”.)
