There was probably a time when almost EVERYONE used a washcloth to bathe. Now, your teenager just stands under the water for about a minute and they’re done.
A woman’s online poll is going viral, where she says, “My husband thinks it’s CRAZY that I use a washcloth to clean my body. He thinks it’s either a loofa (or a poof) or your hands. Which one do you use?”
More than 3,500 people weighed in, and 50% said they wash themselves with their hands. Another 31% said they use a loofa. (Which we hope they change out at least ONCE a year.)
And 17% said they use a washcloth.
In the comments, those people made the case for washcloths: It wastes less body wash than using your hands, and seems to be more efficient at cleaning your smelly parts. And washcloths are also less abrasive and rough on your sensitive areas than loofas.
Many people said they were “shocked.” They figured it would be washcloth #1, then loofah, then hands. (They didn’t break the results down by gender.)
