Olivia Rodrigo has announced her new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, out on June 12th via Geffen Records.
“I am so proud of this record and I can’t wait for you to hear it,” the pop superstar shared on social media. Pre-orders are ongoing. It’s worth noting that the album boasts a parental advisory sticker.
In a British Vogue interview published last month, Rodrigo described her follow-up to GUTS as being filled with “sad love songs” about the obsession and anxiety of romance. “I realized all my favorite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them,” she explained.
