If you’re in your 30s, 40s, and 50s, you enjoyed some epic MUSIC during your youth in the ’90s. A lot of people talk about that. But you also lived through some indelible SMELLS. (Even if they were chemical-y.)
There’s a new online ranking of the most nostalgic scents from the ’90s, and if you’re a person of-a-certain-age, you can probably still “smell” many of them:
1. Play-Doh. This one dates back further than just the ’90s.
2. Bubble Tape. The gum that you pulled out of that pink, plastic puck.
3. Scratch & Sniff Stickers.
4. Mr. Sketch Scented Markers. (This would be #1 in my book.)
5. Scented Erasers. Many of them were shaped and smelled like fruits.
6. Lip Smackers.
7. Strawberry Shortcake Dolls.
8. Fruit Stripe Gum.
9. Koosh Balls.
10. Anything From Bath & Body Works.
11. Perfumes like Sunflowers and CK One.
12. Teen Spirit Deodorant.
13. Scented Pencils.
14. Scented Gel Pens.
15. Floam. That was the part-slime, part-clay stuff kinda like Gak.
