Did you ever hear about the guy who LEGALLY changed his name to “Literally Anybody Else” and ran for president in 2024? Maybe not.
He didn’t get much traction in his presidential run, so now he’s going after the NEXT BEST THING: Becoming the mayor of North Richland Hills, Texas. (???)
Literally is 37 years old, and he works as an animal technician at a university lab in Dallas. But he says he’s ready to be mayor, and will be challenging current Mayor Jack McCarty in the May 2nd general election.
He says that he initially decided to do it because McCarty was going to run unopposed, and some locals haven’t approved of him. But Literally isn’t planning on fundraising or spending much money, so it’s a bit of a gimmick.
Literally was born Dustin Ebey. He says his friends still call him Dusty, and he’s cool with that, because someday he plans to change it back. As for his politics, Literally says he “leans Republican.”
