A 33-year-old guy in Malaysia is in the news for breaking the Guinness World Record for number of TEETH. He has 42 of them, or 10 more than the average adult.
He first noticed something was up in 2021 when a family member counted 38. Then an X-ray showed four more still waiting to come in. (He officially set the record in 2023, but Guinness just did a big feature on him.)
He says the extra teeth don’t really cause him any problems. He has a fairly straight smile with an extra row of teeth behind it.
For obvious reasons, brushing and flossing do take a little longer, though. He says he really has to stay on top of it.
