If this was a thing five years ago, would we all still be working remotely from home?
Fruit of the Loom did a collaboration with a designer overseas to create an “athletic formal suit.” And it’s a cross between SWEATPANTS, and a SUIT.
It comes in black and navy, and at first glance it looks like a relaxed suit, similar to a men’s cardigan, but it’s made from 100% cotton “t-shirt fabric.”
Fruit of the Loom says it’s a “unique balance, the cozy comfort of a premium sweatshirt, but retaining the heavy, elegant drape of a traditional formal suit.” It’s two pieces: A double-breasted jacket, and two-pleat pants, so it’s a “jacket and slacks.” (But in reality, it’s a lot more SLACKIN’ than that!)
Unfortunately, it’s only available in Japan right now, although they are taking pre-orders, and some reports say they ship worldwide. It’s also not as cheap as Fruit of the Loom undergarments. This “suit” will set you back around $160.
