R&B and pop singer Normani showed her “Wild Side” in her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.
The Fifth Harmony member, who’s engaged to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf, is among the cover stars of the 2026 edition of SI Swimwear.
The lineup also includes Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and professional volleyball player Ronika Love. Photospreads of the digital covers were shot on Florida’s Captiva Island.
Normani, who released her solo debut Dopamine in 2024, confirmed that she will soon be releasing new music.
“New music is in the works, and I am excited about it,” she told the publication. “You know, I pay attention to my fans. I might not be the best when it comes to social media, and I’ve made that vow to myself that I am going to be better at that—not only for myself, but also for the people who support me and my fans—but I pay close attention, and I see their responses. I see what they want and what their desires are for me. I’m taking it back to my roots a little bit as well.”
The vocalist added that she feels “more motivated and inspired than ever” in heading back to the recording studio. She also reunited with Fifth Harmony, minus former member Camila Cabello, for a performance in 2025.
“I’ve been going through so many major life transitions that I’m really, really excited for, and I see so much beauty in [them], and I’m just enjoying the journey and the process in those transitions. And so, for me, the sky really is the limit,” Normani explained.
Along with a feature on the “Ecstacy” remix with Ciara and Teyana Taylor last year, Normani was honored with a Femme It Forward award during the 2025 Give Her FlowHERS gala.
