Yes or No? Anchovy Donuts

Anchovies on pizza are controversial, but would it be better or worse to have anchovies, on DONUTS?

There’s a place in New York City called “I’m Donut?” and they do a bunch of strange flavors to push the envelope on what works.

They just debuted a new, limited-edition, savory donut flavor called “Anchovy Cheese,” which is, “A silky blend of white cheddar, Gruyère, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and Béchamel, torched to creamy perfection and topped with a single premium anchovy.”  (Here’s a photo.)

If you’re interested, they say they’ll have it available through next month.

They’re also selling it in a “sweet and savory” box, which comes with a strawberry chocolate donut, a custard, one of their originals, a New York BLT donut, and a scrambled eggs donut.  (Here’s a look at that.)

(Here’s someone on TikTok trying it.)

A real anchovy on top. I took a real bite… You’ll have to watch to hear the verdict 😬 BAD or GOOD? ⬇️ Respect the Chain with Sam E. Goldberg #RespectTheChain #NYCFood #ViralFood #FoodDebate #NYCEats
