What’s the First Sign That Someone Is a Bad Driver?

If you’re a GOOD driver, you may have a hidden talent:  Identifying that someone else is a BAD driver.  Or maybe it’s a survival skill.

Someone asked the internet, “What’s the first sign you notice that someone is a bad driver?”  And there were some fun responses . . .

1.  “First sign is always overconfidence mixed with zero awareness.”

2.  “A good driver sometimes misses their turn.  A bad driver never misses their turn.”  (Get it?)

3.  “They don’t accelerate to highway speeds on the on ramp.”

4.  “When they can’t maintain speed, and keep decelerating and accelerating.”

5.  “Hard braking at every stop.”

6.  “No turn signals.”

7.  “Tailgating.”

8.  “They hang out in your blind-spot.”

9.  “They’re driving a Nissan.”  (Others said “Tesla” or “Ram Trucks.”)

10.  Someone said, “When you’re inside, the passenger side ‘oh crap’ handle is worn.”  And, “Also if there’s a worn spot where the passenger was pressing their imaginary brake pedal.”

11.  “When you see their car start to drift out of their lane and then you see a sudden jerk to correct it.  That’s usually the sign of a driver who is focusing on their phone and only occasionally glancing at the road, and bonus points if it happens repeatedly.”

12.  “They crashed into a stationary car.”
