Historically, some people — Puther Truthers, if you will — have been known to declare that this guy, Charlie Puth, should be a bigger artist. Their time is nigh: the pop musician is gearing up to release a new album, Whatever’s Clever!, this Friday (January 16) on Atlantic Records, and has now announced a world tour to support the project, which will include a pair of Canadian stops in Vancouver and Hamilton this spring.
The trek kicks off with a North American leg, starting April 22 in San Diego, CA. Puth will make his first venture to Canada early the following month for a concert at Vancouver’s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on May 5.
After a handful of gigs back in the US, the singer-songwriter returns to Canadian turf to play Hamilton’s TD Coliseum on May 20 ahead of completing the remainder of the North American leg stateside, wrapping things up on June 13 in Houston, TX.
