We’re not ASKING you to leave. But if you’re ready for a change, here’s where you might want to go. The site “Consumer Affairs” ranked the best and worst cities to move to if you’re ready for a fresh start.
They looked at jobs, quality of life, relocation costs, and how easy it is to “start over.” And #1 on the list is Wilmington, North Carolina. It ranked first in “economic stability and opportunity,” and 10th in how easy it is to set up shop.
The Top 10 are: Wilmington, Boise, Idaho, Cleveland, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Des Moines, Portland, Maine, Pittsburgh, Miami, Portland, Oregon, and Columbus, Ohio.
Of the 100 cities they looked at, Vallejo, California near San Fran ranked last. It’s cheaper than San Francisco but still pricey, and there aren’t as many jobs.
The five hardest cities for a fresh start are Vallejo, California, Worcester, Massachusetts (WUSS-ter), McAllen, Texas, Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Bridgeport, Connecticut.
