A new poll found half of Americans are trying to disconnect from the DIGITAL world whenever they can, and live more ANALOG lifestyles. Quick reminder: RADIO is analog, so, you’re welcome, America.
2,000 people were asked to name the top ways they’re trying to live a more analog life in 2026. Here are the Top 10:
1. Using an actual notebook for notes. Apps are great, but pens and paper DO still exist.
2. Reading books. E-readers just aren’t the same.
3. Using a paper calendar. You’re probably not ditching your iCalendar. But it’s nice to have one hanging somewhere.
4. Playing physical games. Like board games and puzzles instead of video games.
5. Using an alarm clock. Not just the one on your phone.
6. Writing letters. When was the last time you got one in the mail? If you’re under 30, maybe never.
7. Using an old-school planner. The notebook style ones.
8. Wearing a watch. Not a smartwatch, a dumb watch.
9. Analog music. Like listening to records, CDs, or the radio.
10. Actual cameras. Phone cameras are really good now. But real ones still have their appeal.
