This year, Animal Planet’s annual Super Bowl counterprogramming might also be called the Pink Puppy Club: The lineup for Puppy Bowl XXII will include a competitor named Chappell Bone, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi whose ears are a lot bigger than Chappell Roan’s (proportionally, at least).

Chappell Bone might have some of her namesake’s spark, though, as the official Puppy Bowl website says that she “loves the spotlight and shines in social moments both on and off the field. Lively and full of character, she’s the life of the party and a fan favorite in the making.”

Like all puppies who are featured in the Puppy Bowl, Chappell Bone is a rescue, hailing from Florida Little Dog Rescue in St. Cloud, Florida. She’ll be among the 150 dogs featured in the annual call-to-adoption TV event, which will be simulcast across Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, HBO Max and discovery+ on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at 2:00PM ET/11:00AM PT. For more on her namesake, look back on Chappell Roan’s appearance at Corona Capital last fall.
