The Ideal Traveling Companion Has These Four Traits

Traveling with family for the holidays?  Your four-year-old who can’t sit still probably WON’T fit this bill.  A new study looked at what the IDEAL travel companion looks like and found four key traits that make them perfect.

1.  They’re not too emotional.  They’re good under pressure and won’t freak out if things don’t go to plan.  (So, not your four-year-old.)

2.  They’re an experienced traveler.  They can get from Point A to Point B without you.  If they know more about your destination than you do, that’s ideal.

3.  Similar priorities.  Things like sleep schedules, energy levels, and matching budgets.  The more compatible you are, the better.

4.  They’re responsible.  You trust they’ll do what they say and follow through.  Having a “wildcard” in the group CAN make a trip more interesting, or it can just cause headaches.
