New in Theaters: “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” and the Teen Drama “Regretting You”

1.  “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”  (PG-13)  Trailer

Jeremy Allen White stars as Bruce Springsteen in this movie about Bruce’s struggles with the success he got after “The River” and the heavy professional pushback he got in making his much darker 1982 album “Nebraska”.

Jeremy Strong from “Succession” plays Bruce’s good friend and manager Jon Landau, comedian Marc Maron is Springsteen producer Chuck Plotkin, and David Krumholtz is a Columbia record executive.

 

 

2.  “Regretting You”  (PG-13)  Trailer

Allison Williams and her sister married their high school sweethearts.  But when her husband and sister die in a car accident, she and her brother-in-law (Dave Franco) are left feeling betrayed at the obvious reason they died together.

McKenna Grace plays her daughter, who rebels against mom and starts a romance with a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, who’s played by Mason Thames.  You know McKenna as Phoebe Spengler in the “Ghostbusters” movies and Mason from the live action version of “How to Train Your Dragon”.
