A new Taylor Swift era is upon: the pop superstar has announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD, and cassettes versions of the album are now available via Swift’s website.
The album’s artwork, tracklist, and release date have yet to be revealed. However, Swift’s website notes that physical copies will ship before October 13th.
Swift will promote The Life of a Showgirl by appearing on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, on Wednesday, August 13th, at 7:00 p.m. ET. A teaser clip released ahead of the episode shows Swift taking the album out of a briefcase and unveiling its cover (currently blurred).
The Life of a Showgirl marks Swift’s follow-up to The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April 2024. It’s also her first album since wrapping up her record-breaking “The Eras Tour,” and her first release since regaining full control of the master recordings for her first six studio albums.
