Celebrity breakups were the headline in the first half of 2025 but as we head into the back half, romance is back on the table and Megan The Stallion is serving up the love. Megan was the best and biggest surprise of Love Island season seven, entering the villa at a time when spirits were low and boosting the mood of not only the islanders but also the audience.
She deserves an Emmy for her appearance, if there was only a category for reality show guest star. Because Megan didn’t just swagger into the villa and coast on her stardom – she understood what the show is, who the people are, what the show needed; in other words, she put in the work…as part of her own work to promote her own brand of swimwear. And she hosted the sh-t out of that game with her sense of humour and general positivity and support…all of which is coming back to her, because it looks like she’s been infected with coupling energy.
Speculation started last week when Meg posted a photo on Instagram with a man seen lounging in the background prompting the two-finger pinch to reveal Klay Thompson.
Let’s not pretend she didn’t know how the internet would move and react. Every f-cking pixel is obsessed over online these days. This was intentional boyfriend placement, cleverly. Then this weekend, over on Klay’s IG, Megan shows up in a carousel, also subtle. It’s the back of her but it’s definitely her. And her hand a few slides later:

So a joint soft launch and another hot romance for the summer for Meg and the second basketball player she’s dated in a row, after Torrey Craig in 2024. Also a three-streak since before Torrey she was with Romelu Lukaku the previous year. Thee Stallion is in her athlete era.
