One woman made that mistake recently, when she allowed her husband to choose their Aussiedoodle’s haircut. The look was not what she expected. But on the bright side, it did give everyone on the internet a hearty laugh.
You can’t really miss the distinctive look of an Aussiedoodle. With all that curly fur they’re truly one of a kind. Unfortunately for Cristen Woods, her Aussie became a little too one of a kind after a trip to the groomers with her husband.

We can only imagine what the woman must’ve thought when her husband walked in with their dog. She probably immediately regretted her decision to let him pick their Aussiedoodle’s new ‘do.
The woman probably thought her Doodle was going to come back with a teddy bear cut, but nope. Of course her husband picked the exact opposite haircut — a mullet. It really was a striking hairdo. They even cut the mullet so it went down the pup’s back and left him a little beard to match too.
“My husband is NEVER allowed to pick the dogs haircut ever again!!!!!!” the woman exclaimed in the video’s caption.
Unfortunately for the woman, it seems like the entire comments section on her husband’s side.
“Sorry hun, I’m siding with the man on this one,” wrote one woman in the comments section.
“As a groomer we wish we had more of these cuts. Life is too short not to have fun!” another commenter pointed out.
“He absolutely looks ready for some summer tailgating parties. I think you should get him a Budweiser bandana and just lean into it!” suggested another person.
While one person had a very strong suggestion: “Ma’am your husband should be the ONLY one picking the dog’s haircut moving forward,” they wrote.
