There’s a new report out on America’s “most trusted brands”, and it weighed the reputations of THOUSANDS of brands, including restaurants, groceries, household products, services, and entertainment.
For Gen Z, the most trusted brand is: YouTube, followed by Band-Aid, Dawn Dish Soap, Costco, and Google. Others that ranked highly include: Nike, Ben & Jerry’s, Gatorade, Nintendo, Netflix, PlayStation, and Spotify.
For Millennials, the most trusted brand is: Google, followed by PayPal, YouTube, Dawn Dish Soap, and the USPS. Others that ranked highly include: Lysol, Visa, Hershey’s, Dove, Tide, Lego, and the Weather Channel.
For Gen X, the most trusted brand is: Dawn Dish Soap, followed by Oral-B, Hershey’s, Band-Aid, and Duracell. Others that ranked highly include: Heinz Ketchup, Tylenol, Home Depot, Clorox, Betty Crocker, and M&Ms.
For Boomers, the most trusted brand is: Kleenex, followed by Dawn Dish Soap, UPS, Tylenol, and Band-Aid. Others that ranked highly include: Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, Colgate, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Bounty, and Hefty.
There are some similarities on those lists. As for the DIFFERENCES . . .
The brand Gen Z’ers trust the most compared to other adults is: TikTok, followed by Duolingo, Life360, Twitch, Crocs, and Fenty Beauty.
The brand Millennials trust the most compared to other adults is: Bitcoin, followed by Red Bull, 5 Hour Energy, Fortnite, and Durex.
The brand Gen X’ers trust the most compared to other adults is: Campbell’s Soup, Speed Stick is next, also: Banquet Frozen Foods, Sheba Cat Food, Stanley Steemer, and Yahoo.
The brand Boomers trust the most compared to other adults is: Procter & Gamble. amusingly, Boomers next highest compared to other adults are: La-Z-Boy, Consumer Reports, CorningWare, and Bayer Aspirin.
