Beyonce has history with surprise album releases. The latest Queen Bey surprises, however, appear to be unauthorized leaks. A 10-track project, entitled Have Your Way, surfaced on Apple Music and Spotify late Thursday, listed under the artist name Queen Carter, as Vibe reported. A second album, also running to 10 tracks, carried the title Back Up, Rewind, according to ET.
The LPs appeared to compile old songs and unreleased music, with such titles as “After All Is Said and Done,” “Hey Goldmember,” Twerk,” “Black Culture” and “Keep Giving Your Love to Me.” But by midnight, all tracks were removed.
Beyonce would appear to be the second artist to fall victim to leaked music on Thursday. Earlier, an album titled Comethru appeared on Spotify, featuring nine unreleased SZA tunes under the name Sister Solana. “These are random scratches from 2015. Def not new new!” she wrote against a screenshot of the album art. “But…creative? And Scary?”
Bey and her reps have yet to address the apparent leaks.
