The 10 Best and Worst Cities For Driving

The website WalletHub.com just ranked the 100 best and worst cities to drive in.  So maybe you can laugh at other people’s misery and feel better?

The rankings are based on things like gas prices, traffic, weather, the quality of the roads, accident rates, and car thefts.

But when you add all that up, it really skews toward western cities, thanks to their nice, big, new roads and their lack of snow that saves wear and tear on your car.

The best city for driving is Scottsdale, Arizona.  Reno made the top 10! The rest of the top 10 are:

  • Tucson, Arizona
  • Corpus Christi, Texas
  • Gilbert, Arizona
  • Mesa, Arizona
  • Chandler, Arizona
  • Reno, Nevada
  • Laredo, Texas
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Tampa, Florida

The worst city for driving is Washington D.C.  The rest of the 10 worst are:

  • Detroit
