OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Contest Period: Thursday March 31st, 2016 and ending no later than May 31st, 2016. Contest will be played at 7:10am, 9:10am, 2:10pm, and 4:10pm weekdays.
Eligibility Requirements: Contest is open to all Northern Nevada residents and Northern California residents within KLCA-FM’s listening area.
How to Enter: Listen at 7:10am, 9:10am, 2:10pm, and 4:10pm weekdays for a chance to guess the Alice “Secret Sound”. When prompted on-air to call, caller 10 will then have a chance to identify the “Secret Sound” code to win the featured prize package that will be worth a minimum of $500. Winners must be very specific with their guess for chance to win prize…example “closing a car door” “sand being poured in a glass”. Radio station will always provide audio of the “Secret Sound” at every contest time. Clues will also be provided during each via email blasts from online listener database (alice965.com) and social media feeds including but, not limited to facebook/Twitter.
Prizes: Prizes will change from game to game and could range from cash to trips. Each games prize value will be a minimum of $500. Any trip package awarded will include airfare, hotel, and tickets to a specific event. Ground transfers, upgrades, meals, changes in itinerary, and/or other charges associated with prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Odds of winning: Odds are dependent on number of contestants. A maximum of ONE Prize will be awarded per game. There is no consolation prize fulfillment associated with this contest. Prize or prizes are not transferable. Winner will be asked to provide proof of identification and Social Security Card is prize value is $600 or more. Prize winner(s) may be required to complete and return a W-9 form or appropriate tax form, affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release, and present a valid driver’s license and social security card before prize will be awarded. Prize winner (if over $600) will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize.
Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation.
Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to this promotion. If winner is found in violation of these rules he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade worldwide without limitation or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prizes, winners agree to hold sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the promotion administrator and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in the promotion or in any prize-related activities, and assume all liability therefore. Station allows one winner of this contest per (30) days. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes.
Reno Media Group are not responsible for any errors or force majeure which prevents the redemption of fulfillment of this contest.
Reno Media Group reserve the right to cancel contest at anytime. Any and all rule changes will be announced, and written copies made available at our offices as soon as changes are made. Copies of all rules are available during regular business hours at our offices. These rules may be changed at anytime at the discretion of the parties as stated above.
