Former U.S. President Barack Obama has unveiled his genre-spanning 2026 Summer Playlist.
Continuing his years-old annual tradition, Obama shared a glimpse into his favorite summer songs on social media, featuring music legends and evergreen hits, old and new.
His 2026 playlist includes “Song of Good Hope” by Glen Hansard. Obama opened the post by honoring the late Irish singer-songwriter.
“Here are some of the songs I’ve been listening to this summer,” he said. “It starts with a song Michelle and I love by Glen Hansard, a great musician who passed tragically this week. Our hearts go out to his family.”
Obama’s playlist features 46 songs, including Noah Kahan‘s “Doors,” Raye‘s “Where is my Husband!,” Drake, Future and Molly Santana‘s “Ran to Atlanta,” the Beatles‘ “Revolution,” Doechii and SZA‘s “Girl, Get Up,” BossMan Dlow‘s “Motion Party,” Tyla and Zara Larrson‘s “She Did It Again,” Kelela‘s “idea 1,” October London‘s “Make Me Wanna,” The Strokes‘ “Going Shopping,” Coldplay‘s “Charlie Brown,” David Bowie‘s “Modern Love,” Marvin Gaye‘s “Let’s Get It On” and Mumford & Sons and Hozier‘s “Rubber Band Man.”
