You love your pet, but enough to DATE them? There’s a trend where people use A.I. to see what their cat or dog would look like as a human. So MetLife Pet Insurance did a poll to see how many people would actually DATE that human.
Turns out a lot of us WOULD, but even more said NO WAY. 31% would date their pet, but 39% said they’d be a “walking red flag.”
Some people said no based solely on looks. Like, you might love orange cats and just not be into gingers.
But as much as we love our pets, they’re also just REALLY high-maintenance.
Here are the top five reasons people wouldn’t date their pet . . .
1. They need constant attention. 42% cited that one as a reason.
2. They’re too clingy, 32%
3. Not great with boundaries, 30%
4. Easily jealous or territorial, 29%
5. Too moody or temperamental, 25%
(Plus, there’s the whole scooting your butt across the floor thing. Sorry, that’s a dealbreaker.)
