This Weeks Hero In Heels is Della Washington
Della was born in Milwaukee, WI and raised in nearby Madison. She has worn many hats but most currently, has taken on the title of engineer with her HeavyFoot Weight company.

Della is also a published poem writer and song writer via her position at Pacific Data Images/Dream Works in Palo Alto, CA.. She is also an entrepreneur; member of the American Bar Association; a legislative bill author; a Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center Milestone Circles Participant; and nominated Microenterprise Business of the Year Award for 2025 by the SBA.
She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration and Management as well as her M.S. in Legal Studies from Purdue Global University and has her Masters Criminal Justice Homeland Security from Southern New Hampshire University.
