Remember the FURBY? The media called it the hottest toy of 1998, even though it was fairly creepy. Then it made a comeback last year for the holiday season. And now, at least one Furby is in an EVIDENCE LOCKER.  Yesterday, around 1:00 A.M., 27-year-old Ashley Trimmer of Moon Township, Pennsylvania was at home with her boyfriend, William Ley, and they got into an argument.

t's not clear what they were fighting about. But what we DO know for sure is that Ashley had a Furby, picked it up, and used it to HIT her boyfriend in the face.  Even though it's hard to injure someone with a stuffed animal, even a creepy one, the police policy is to make an arrest for a domestic assault no matter how minor an injury is. So Ashley was arrested for misdemeanor simple assault.
