The Arquettes are a weird family . . . but mostly in a GOOD way.  And DAVID ARQUETTE is a great example of that.   He's such a loveable goof that COURTENEY COX just can't seem to hate him, even if she couldn't handle being married to him.

David's great-grandparents were a vaudeville act known as "The Funny Hebrew and The Singing Soubrette".   David's grandfather Cliff played a hillbilly character named Charley Weaver who appeared on TV a lot from the late '50s until his death in the early '70s, including the "Tonight Show" with both Jack Paar and Johnny Carson.  Here's a clip.

David's father Lewis was a puppeteer who also played J.D. Pickett on "The Waltons".  And, perhaps most importantly, David's mother Brenda was a burlesque performer and NAUGHTY PINUP MODEL.

And that's where our story really starts.  You see, David has a new club in L.A. called Bootsy Bellows, which was his mother's stage name back when she did all her NUDIE WORK.  And that's not the only way David pays tribute to her at the club.

There's a significant section of wall space at the club devoted to her classic nudes.  That's right:  David decorated his club with NUDE PHOTOS OF HIS MOM.  And they even include some BONDAGE SHOTS.
