Last Thursday night, Artie Hughes of Malverne, New York was relaxing on his deck with his wife when a black liquid started raining down on them.

Artie says, "Some black liquid, some black oil came [down]" and landed all over him, his wife, and his deck.  They knew it wasn't rain, and they knew it looked NASTY . . . so they called the police.

The police did some investigating, and found it was pretty much the worst-case scenario.  The FAA told them a plane flying overhead had a leaking toilet, so it was RAINING FECES on the Hughes family.

The airline hasn't been released.  Artie isn't suing or anything like that, but he says he just wants some answers on HOW it happened so it doesn't happen again.
