For the entire month of July, Reno is Artown!
Artown offers over 500 events ranging from live music, dance, theater and performances to visual arts, workshops, multicultural events and tours. The Festival brings distinguished artists from around the world, across the country and those that live in our community all for the sake of cultural diversity and artistic innovation. The cornerstone of the festival is it’s free events; more than 60%, including the popular Opening Night (July 1) and Closing Night (August 1) concerts in Wingfield Park.
Artown events take place at approximately 115 locations throughout Reno, Sparks and include venues at Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. The festival’s main location is scenic Wingfield Park, located along the Truckee River in downtown Reno.
Referred to as one of the most comprehensive arts festivals in the country by the National Endowment for the Arts.
