Cabela's Celebrates Spring Great Outdoor Days
With Free Seminars, Demonstrations and Exhibitions
RENO, Nev. (March 7, 2013) – Spring Great Outdoor Days at Cabela’s marks the end of the hard, cold winter and provides hope to outdoorsmen everywhere that the thaw is beginning and it is time to prepare for spring adventures. Free seminars, demonstrations and cooking events for the entire family are scheduled March 16-17 at Cabela’s, I-80 Exit 4.
Grilling tips, setting up an outdoor kitchen, trophy scoring and beginning fly fishing are all part of the weekend. In addition, local industry pro staffer Rick Kennedy with Tightlines Guide Service and Lowrance will do two fishing seminars and one on sonar on Saturday and David Cousineau with Tri-Tronics will be doing seminars both days on dog training and electronic collars.
Dan Shipman with RCBS will do two reloading seminars each day, one for beginners and one for advanced reloaders, Mike Raymond of Mountain Mike’s Reproductions will do shed mountain sessions on Saturday and Ryan Trenka of Hunting GPS will do a GPS mapping seminar at 1pm Saturday.
Conservation partners attending include the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the National Rifle Association (NRA), Nevada State Parks and the Nevada Wildlife Record Book with certified Boone & Crocket scorers.
Expert manufacturers’ representatives will also be in-store, including Gore-Tex, Hevi-Shot, Mossy Oak and Quantum-Zebco to answer customers’ questions.
