The spring gala season for the A.V.A. Ballet Theatre opens with the classic ballet Peter Pan on April 27th and 28th, 2013 at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Re-staged and re-choreographed by Alexander Van Alstyne, Peter Pan is the captivating story of Peter Pan and Wendy and their adventures in Neverland.

The composer of the magnificent score for the ballet, Carmon De Leone, will conduct the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. Mr. De Leone is the music director of the Cincinnati Ballet. Fairies, pirates and the Lost Boys have starring roles in this fantasy adventure.

This classic story is filled with mesmerizing dance, intrigue, and is fun for the entire family. Outstanding guest principal dancers who have danced with the San Francisco Ballet, Diablo Ballet, and Salt Lake City’s Ballet West will perform with large cast from A.V.A. Ballet Theatre.
