A bunker reminiscent of the Vietnam era, a World War I machine gun, a piece of the Berlin Wall and a 36 Star Infantry Battle Flag are but a few of the unique items in this special exhibit. Photos, weapons, artifacts, models and uniforms, all loaned by the local community, commemorate the significant role that Washoe County residents have played in the nation’s battles from the Civil War to the Global War on Terrorism.
