The third annual "South Lake Tahoe Food and Wine Festival" arrives at Harrah's and Harvey’s Lake Tahoe, Oct. 5 – 7, for an early autumn weekend of great food, fine wine and high spirits. Celebrity guest include "Chopped" champion Michael Gowland, celebrity chef Nathan Lyon, Chef Mark Estee of Campo highlight third annual event.
Events include lots of dining and tasting experiences, plus discussions, presentations and demonstrations by celebrated food and wine experts. Of course, food and wine are the biggest stars and a spectacular "Epicurean Expo" – featuring sumptuous dishes from Harrah's best restaurants, top-shelf spirits and the finest wines of Napa Valley and beyond – highlights the weekend.
There's plenty of entertainment and exhibitions too, featuring close-up cooking demonstrations by Chef Estee and Chef Nathan Lyon, author and co-host of the popular PBS series, "Growing a Greener World." Chef Lyon will also be signing copies of his book, "Great Food Starts Fresh," which has been hailed by Alice Waters and Graham Kerr.
The Epicurean Expo promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of high spirits and culinary delights.
