
The record-breaking PBS-TV music specials, “50 Years of Doo-Wop” were so well received that it created a new showcase and new audiences for veteran Doo-Wop artists. Now these original artists, whose combined sales number over 200 million records, are back on the road performing live.
An impressive list of 8 original Doo-Wop artists will be part of the show. This stellar lineup includes Jay Siegel’s Token’s (The Lion Sleeps, Portrait of my Love, Tonight I Fell in Love) with their special guest Jay Traynor (She Cried), Jimmy Clanton (Just a Dream, Venus in Blue Jeans, Go Jimmy Go’) The Vibrations (Hang on Sloopy, The Watusi, Peanut Butter), The Edsels (Rama Lama Ding Dong), Dick & Dee Dee (Thou Shall Not Steal, The Mountains High, When You’re Young and in Love, Paul & Paula (Hey Paula, Young Lovers) and Rama Lama Big Band (Buzz, Buzz, Buzz).
