The Black Keys, Fun, Gotye and Mumford & Sons Were Winners at the Grammys

2/11/2013

THE BLACK KEYS
dominated most of last night's Grammys, but they didn't come away with the Album of the Year award.  That went to the MUMFORD & SONS for their album, "Babel".  The Black Keys disc "El Camino" did win Best Rock Album, and their single "Lonely Boy" won Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance.  Black Keys singer DAN AUERBACH also won Producer of the Year (Non-Classical).

"Lonely Boy" didn't get Record of the Year.  That went to GOTYE'S hit, "Somebody That I Used to Know"FUN won Best New Artist, and their single "We Are Young" was named Song of the Year.

Elsewhere, SKRILLEX won Best Dance Recording.

FRANK OCEAN beat CHRIS BROWN in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category, and Frank was back onstage when JAY-Z and KANYE WEST'S "No Church in the Wild" won Best Rap / Sung Collaboration.

Frank and THE-DREAM were featured on that track.

In country, the title track off CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S album "Blown Away" won Best Country Solo Performance, and Best Country Song.
