Chris Brown Catches a Break: Frank Ocean Will *Not* Press Charges
FRANK OCEAN will NOT press charges against CHRIS BROWN for last week's BRAWL in the parking lot of a recording studio. In a post on his website, Frank explained, "As a child, I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man, I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
This could be a HUGE break for Chris. It sounded like Chris was the aggressor, he had a cast on his hand, a witness on the scene said he threw the first punch, and a police spokesperson said Frank wanted to press charges. Chris is still on probation for beating the crap out of Rihanna four years ago, so he could've been in DEEP TROUBLE if Frank pursued this.
(By the way, the almost never reliable MediaTakeOut.com has a source who says Chris Brown PAID Frank off. Supposedly, Chris forked over $2 MILLION to get Frank to walk away.)
