The Sons of Some Old-School Rappers Are Doing a Reality Show Together
There's a new reality show being shopped to some cable networks, which stars the sons of some old-school rappers. It's called "Seeds of Hip-Hop". The cast features: Dr. Dre's son Curtis Young, Eazy-E's son Eric Wright Jr, MC Ren's son Anthony Dunbar, E-40's son Droop-E, and Jam Master Jay's son Jason Mizell. All these kids are in their 20s.
Eazy-E and Jam Master Jay are no longer with us. Eazy-E died of AIDS in 1995, and Jam Master Jay was murdered in 2002. Dre, Eazy-E and MC Ren were in N.W.A. together, and Jam Master Jay was in Run-DMC.
All we know for now is that the show will be about, "the boys trying to make it on their own, while trying to escape the shadows of their famous dads."
Isn't there a tinge of irony there? They want us to watch them "trying to escape the shadows of their famous dads", on a reality show that they're on because their dads are famous.
