Demi Lovato Scolded a Hip-Hop Group at an "X Factor" Audition for Rapping About Drugs in Front of Kids
DEMI LOVATO tore into a hip-hop group at an "X Factor" audition in Greensboro, North Carolina, for rapping about doing drugs. Their rap included the lyric: "I'm high on bath salts."
As soon as they finished, Demi said, "It's really inappropriate to rap about drugs in front of kids." The studio audience agreed, and booed the contestants off stage. They were never even judged.
Of course, this is an issue that Demi takes seriously. She went to rehab last year, and has admitted to using drugs and alcohol when she was younger.
(By the way, People.com reports that BRITNEY SPEARS "walked off" the set during the Greensboro auditions after some guy in drag butchered her song, "(You Drive Me) Crazy". Demi and L.A. REID followed her backstage. But when Britney came back, she said she "respected" the guy's "tribute" to her, and added, "It was really nice." So it sounds like the judges were just taking a break. It's pretty tiring the way the media comments every time Britney's ass leaves her judge's chair. And as far as we can tell, it's been a FALSE ALARM EVERY TIME. If she'd actually stormed off the set as many times as the media claims she has, she probably would have been fired a long time ago.)
