One Direction Won Three VMAs, Plus a Complete List of the Other VMA Winners


won three trophies last night at the "MTV Video Music Awards":  Best Pop Video, Best New Artist and Most Share-Worthy Video.  That made them the night's big winners.

CHRIS BROWN won Best Male Video for "Turn Up the Music", beating out his so-called rival DRAKE in that category.  But Drake won Best Hip-Hop Video for "HYFR".

RIHANNA took the big one, Video of the Year, for "We Found Love".

Other winners included Nicki Minaj, Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Calvin Harris.

There really weren't any buzz-worthy moments on the show, but here were a few:
