Nubian MAN-GOD TAYE DIGGS got home from the "Screen Actors Guild Awards" at about 11:00 P.M. Sunday night, to find a burglar in his house.

But instead of avoiding a confrontation, Taye went right at the guy, who took off running.  But Taye chased him down and held him until police showed up.  There was also a getaway driver, but he took off.

The dude Taye caught is 20 years old, and he's being held on $50,000 bail.
