An interview LINDSAY LOHAN did with PIERS MORGAN a few weeks ago was published in a British tabloid this weekend. Here are the highlights . . .
Lindsay does NOT love cocaine the way you think she does. She says, "I've only done it maybe four or five times in my life." She says she hates it because it reminds her of her dad. She's also never taken heroin or LSD, nor has she ever injected herself with anything. She copped to some pot-smoking, but she says she's not a pothead. And apparently, her favorite drug is ECSTASY.
To hear her tell it, Lindsay hardly ever even drinks. She says, "I've never been a huge drinker. I've never woken up in the morning and had a drink." And Lindsay can quit drinking any time she wants. She says HEATH LEDGER once advised her to quit for an entire year, and she did.
Not surprisingly, Lindsay doesn't think she needs rehab. She says, "I don't think I need to be on lockdown for three months. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless." She adds, "I think there are other things I could do instead. The best thing they could do for me would be to make me go abroad to different countries and work with children." But she does admit, "I don't think it will be a bad thing for me to be away with myself for three months."
Lindsay does cop to taking Adderall for, "severe ADD". And she takes a tranquilizer when she can't sleep because of jet lag.
Oh, and Lindsay never stole that necklace, FYI. She says, "They didn't show the real in-store video tape to anyone, because that shows the store attendant putting it on me and me taking out cash to pay for it, and she's saying, 'No, you can just bring it back tomorrow.' So, there's like a slew of things that have gone on like that which have been such a strain."
One last note: Lindsay is STRAIGHT. And even though she had that lesbian relationship with SAMANTHA RONSON, she doesn't even consider herself bisexual. She says, "When I was with her I didn't want to leave, because I didn't want to be alone." She adds, "I have made out with girls before, and I had a relationship with a girl. But I think I needed to experience that and I think I was looking for something different."
